Our coverage area includes Westchester and Fairfield counties as well as the lower Hudson Valley (Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Ulster, and Sullivan). These counties all have a very distinct flavor and culture of their own. But lets face it, we wouldn’t be the fabulous towns and villages we are if it weren’t for our geographical proximity to what is arguably the cultural hub of the planet.

So in this blog we don’t shy away from offering you options for day trips or nights out to the five boroughs.  (After all, a drive from Yonkers to Astoria, Queens takes a mere 18 minutes.) Nor do we shy away from chronicling short drives into Connecticut and upstate New York. Want to visit a vineyard? Go for a bike ride?
